So, St. Louis got 9 to 10 inches of snow yesterday. They aren't used to this. (like I am) They said we haven't had this much snow since 2002. It is pretty and yesterday it was great packing snow, I wanted to stay home and make a snowman. I had to drive in it at night when it was snowing so fast the plows couldn't keep up. It took me 2 hours to drive 17 miles home from work. I didn't go much faster than 20 mph. Neither did anyone else. The highway was covered in snow, people were sliding all over the place, and I wasn't going to get stuck! Some times we weren't going any faster that 5 mph. We had an ice storm last week and of course I was out driving in that at the height of the sleet and ice coming down. This is my second winter in the snow areas and I drive through both "worst" storms. It is nothing like Buffalo though. The city is supposed to be in the 40's the next few days so I imagine most of it will melt. My biggest problem with this city is because they aren't used to more than a few inches of snow a year they don't sell any good snow boots! I am ruining my cute fashion boots! I am about to put bread bags over them and rubber band them on just like I did when I was little!!!!!
That's all for that subject.
