SNOW ! !

So, St. Louis got 9 to 10 inches of snow yesterday. They aren't used to this. (like I am) They said we haven't had this much snow since 2002. It is pretty and yesterday it was great packing snow, I wanted to stay home and make a snowman. I had to drive in it at night when it was snowing so fast the plows couldn't keep up. It took me 2 hours to drive 17 miles home from work. I didn't go much faster than 20 mph. Neither did anyone else. The highway was covered in snow, people were sliding all over the place, and I wasn't going to get stuck! Some times we weren't going any faster that 5 mph. We had an ice storm last week and of course I was out driving in that at the height of the sleet and ice coming down. This is my second winter in the snow areas and I drive through both "worst" storms. It is nothing like Buffalo though. The city is supposed to be in the 40's the next few days so I imagine most of it will melt. My biggest problem with this city is because they aren't used to more than a few inches of snow a year they don't sell any good snow boots! I am ruining my cute fashion boots! I am about to put bread bags over them and rubber band them on just like I did when I was little!!!!!
That's all for that subject.

New Job

I did get the position for work where I will be doing insurance rentals for Nationwide customers. I don't start until January 7th, because of our vacation., We don't want to disrupt my training. I am taking the cut in pay, but to get off the retail line will be less pressure. The whole company (my building) is relocating alittle closer to home. We are moving into a bigger building. We are also opening a new call center in Eugene, Oregon. I'm not interested in moving there. Too far North and West away from family. That's all for this subject. I have so many different subjects I don't want to crowd them together.

New Day

Today is Sunday the 15th of December. In 5 days Carroll and I will be on a plane to Florida for Christmas! I can't wait to see David and Mom, and Grandma. We are going to see Uncle Brain, Aunt Midge, Uncle Nick, Aunt Debbie, Dad, Carol, Tula and Jim! So much family!! Wish I were going to see Vanessa.
